Morning

 

April 24 Update: Morning is accepted to Telling America’s Stories: Celebrating 100 Years of National Park Service at The Brush Art Gallery & Studios in Lowell, MA. The exhibit runs May 7 – June 10, 2016.

I am so pleased to have my work included in another National Parks exhibit! When I began to work on various National Parks, I had no idea these kinds of opportunities would become available and I’m grateful for each one of them.

I’m excited that Morning won an Honorable Mention at the Wisconsin Artists Biennial! The exhibit runs February 6 – March 27, 2016 at MOWA Museum of Wisconsin Art, West Bend, WI. New Work

I’m very excited to be posting some of what I’ve been working on lately. You will see more Grand Canyon pieces in the future and Wisconsin and Michigan water scenes. Grand Canyons and Plateaus

I’ve hiked the Grand Canyon several times and have hundreds of photos. A lot of them were taken on our first trip there in misty weather, so I’ve digitally manipulated some of the images for color before using them for fiber art. Nevada Fall Mist

I am excited that Nevada Fall Mist is also included in Yosemite Renaissance XXIX! The opening is February 28, 2014 at Yosemite Museum Gallery in Yosemite National Park. The show runs from March 1 through May 11, 2014 and travels to other galleries after that.  Continue reading “Nevada Fall Mist”
