April 24 Update: Morning is accepted to Telling America’s Stories: Celebrating 100 Years of National Park Service at The Brush Art Gallery & Studios in Lowell, MA. The exhibit runs May 7 – June 10, 2016.
I am so pleased to have my work included in another National Parks exhibit! When I began to work on various National Parks, I had no idea these kinds of opportunities would become available and I’m grateful for each one of them.

I’m excited that Morning won an Honorable Mention at the Wisconsin Artists Biennial! The exhibit runs February 6 – March 27, 2016 at MOWA Museum of Wisconsin Art, West Bend, WI. You can see the catalog for this exhibition here and even order a copy of your own, if you like.
I worked on this piece on a very dark day and was wowed when I saw it in the morning sun! It is based on a walk through Yosemite Valley one morning in 2014.
The last day we were there, we had a couple of hours to enjoy the valley before heading back to the coast to catch our plane. Leaving that time felt wistful and we spent our last moments looking at dead wood on the valley floor and the sun lighting up the side of the granite above. What an incredible national park!
