Redwalled Daydream

My fantasy is to go to the Grand Canyon and hike again while it’s sunny, but not too hot and here’s how it would look from the South Rim!

This piece can be seen at St. George Art Center in St. George, Utah.  The name of the exhibition is Pictured: The West’s Most Spectacular National Parks and runs June 11-August 13, 2016.

I’m very happy that juror Donna Poulton, Ph.D., chose my work to be part of this exhibit! This is the second in a series of three exhibits celebrating the National Park Service Centennial that St. George Art Museum is curating this year.

In time, I will hike the canyon again. Meanwhile, making these pieces is very satisfying.
